Yeah BaM. Trust me, you could do it, and do it quite well if you tried. The hard part is investing the time in trying something new that you are bound to not be as good at in the beginning. It's like why practice three pointers if you're so good at the slam dunk. Well, it will make you a more versatile painter. I'm going to pick up a historical type figure soon and do it all TMM. That's my opinion of when to use each-I think cartoony type fantasy figured look good with NMM, and realistic type historical should take TMM. But a rare few can make it look appropriate no matter what they are painting (like you with TMM on fantasy figs).
