It seems that it has less coverage than the previous "paint along the same mini". Maybe a new thread should have been done to attract more people.

DR THAT'S WICKED brushwork. Uh him tmm , true metallic metal, TRUE METALICS METAL! You know how I feel bout it. It IS THE ONE TRUE WAY OF THE GODS!!! That and uh ummm that and I can't do nmm.lol
If you can paint, you can do NMM.
All it is, is careful placement of highlights and thin glazing.
You picked up adding complementary colours to Ork skin, what's so different about changing from metallic paint to coloured paint?
If an old fart like me can pick it up in his fifties, then there is nothing to stop you.

Yeah BaM. Trust me, you could do it, and do it quite well if you tried. The hard part is investing the time in trying something new that you are bound to not be as good at in the beginning. It's like why practice three pointers if you're so good at the slam dunk. Well, it will make you a more versatile painter. I'm going to pick up a historical type figure soon and do it all TMM. That's my opinion of when to use each-I think cartoony type fantasy figured look good with NMM, and realistic type historical should take TMM. But a rare few can make it look appropriate no matter what they are painting (like you with TMM on fantasy figs).

Sad Panda!! :-( It's not going to have comets on it. The only flaw is that one of the corners of his robe and about 2/3 of the comet are gone - not there at all. I can (barely) sculpt the corner back on, but there's no way I can do the comet, so I'm going to just scrape them both off. Maybe steal a bit of Dragonsreach's idea and do hammers in the corners.
And it'll take too long to send it back, so I'm not going to worry about that. It'll still be fun!

Alright guys I'm Gonna try it! :/ here I go try not to laugh!!! But thanks for the confidence boost guys cause in reality this nmm scares the living shites out of me. And DR thought you were 42... Good genes mate !! and thanks a bunch guys. For believing in me when I failed to do so quite miserably . I figure if it comes out bad I can - test the structural integrity of the mini by giving it free flying lessons. Lol anybody ever btw get so mad at a model that you just had to .. I mean absolutely had to throw it across the room " Pedro Martinez/ Andy petite style . ( baseball for my friends over in the England) lol jk. Thanks men.

Lol god bless! What that also means is from that same kickin round all that wi see full experience and wisdom !! Like you know a sage- a guru .. Lol a well of amazing stories ill bet as well!
