I thought it was a throat infection that Skel infected you with... Didn't realise it had this kind of side effects. :giggle:
Yes, but I've been fighting the worst of the effects off, just had a bit of a 'relapse' due to the hot weather.
It should soon pass.

Bit more done got to do the glazing and glints yet on the hammer and some gold work needs doing on the book and hammer. Some free hand on the cloak that's supposed to be K F for Karl franz it needs tidying up a bit though.

Nice touch there Andy. Ties it all together nicely. I'm jealous, coloring those bricks seems like a lot of fun!

Been looking the last 2 weeks and can't find this guy on eBay. I can get it from GW, but all told it'll cost $25. Having trouble wrapping my mind around this. Does anybody that previously thought they would take part in the paint a long and had to drop out have a figure they'll sell? I'll pay for all associated expenses :)

Nice....very nice, and a great wee base (is this a kit or scratchbuilt Andy?). Osl should bring mucho kudos, chosing the colour of the flame will be interesting with the mini...blue flames?!

It's a kit produced by figone I bought it of WAMP. I normally do my own bases but this just looked so spot on I bought it. Don't know just yet the colour having a night off painting and I'll think it over for tomorrow.

Fantastic Andy! My priest arrived a while ago. Bit sad I'm missing out, we had a bathroom disaster, had a full on leak behind the tiles of the shower so ended up gutting the whole bathroom and insulating relining and all that jazz. Looking good now almost finished, I have been working as well to pay the bills so a bit slim on spare time. Looking forward to getting back to the brush!

10 love the Cape and gold details.what's your base going to be?

Whenever you can get to it Canny no rush. Same thing in my house the bloody barrat home builders stuck the bloody tiles straight on to plasterboard so of course as soon as any grouting leaked at all the bloody bathroom wall started blowing out and the tiles fell off had to replace the whole sodding wall! F*#kers!

What nubs! I have my aquablock cert now because I got sick of other trades people doing it poorly. And I wanted in on the price people are charging for it.

Just a quick endorsement while I'm here; the figone base I found to be bloody brilliant well recommend it:good:

Truly looks lovely Andy, good work there. Actually thought you'd go a bit differently with painting the brickwork. Expected some warm glazes. But your intended effect definitely worked, and well. Outstanding work my friend.

Nah it would look a bit odd with cold colours like the blue of the cloak and the aqua of the tabard and the plain grey nmm of the steel and then stick him on a warm base. Glad you like.

Freaking awesome man, another top pant job. Love the atmosphere and the blue in the armor.
