too bad they didn't go to the extremes.
So SM is in a Centurion Armor now, which could be put in a Dreadnought exoskeleton, that could be inside a dreadknight, that could be inside a (new type of) Titan.

btw it looks like the price got here too. I went into the GW shop on saturday, thinking SM means LOTS of people. Well, no, not anymore. There were 5 total (4 playing WHFB, 1 painting a HE). So I can't say that the new SM was a success here.
Until now I saw people buying like crazy here, but this saturday... looked not so promising)

Surely not a bad deal? I mean about 20grams of badly sculpted resin/plastic total cost to GW about 10p so only about a 47500% mark up! I mean its still cheaper than than er well erm er.........erm ,, f*cking hell er............ I know anti-matter!!

There you are still a good deal!!

phew - I was worried for a while one of your guys was going to do an amazing paint job on these and make me reassess them. Glad to hear that it won't happen.

Im going to play devils advocate here but these do look like a good base for conversion work to lets say pre heresy terminators cut those stupid feet off, get rid of the armpit cannons do a bit more fiddling here and there and maybe yuo could come up with something not as fugly. I bet its the same guy who designed the dread knight mechanical papoose did these

too much work :), I iz lazy, might as well get the official pre-heresy termies from FW. Even the price will be about the same.

hihi, they look like walls with mittens. gw gone wild! couldnt they´ve just done another really biig thing? happy i´m not a sm-guy.

When I first saw these I was actually kind of happy. I thought, great, a new kit from GW that I have absolutely no interest in buying. I have no idea what they were thinking when they came up with these guys. The only way to make them worse would have been to make them finecast.

I like the whole 40K universe and have a certain nostalgia for the figures. But I haven't been a fan of GW for a while now. On the bright side, all of this is helping me justify purchasing from forge world. Far better sculpts and at this point it's no longer more expensive than the regular GW stuff.

I saw these and immediately thought, why do they look like mini Ork Stompas? Were they sculpted by the same guy?
