New Tau Army

Hi all

I started a new tau army a while back and I have been doing this army off and on for about a year now in between other projects so there isnt a huge amount of stuff done.

They were to tell the squads apart when i used to play with them just basecoated. But i mixed up the squads when i painted them so they have no relevance now lol

That is looking really nice, clean and neat, like tau should be I also like the use of the purple as a spot colour.

wow man, there are some great things in this army....idk how people can paint whole tau armies with kiling somebody first hahahaha...but yeah great work...i look forward to more!

well 95% done just the grey hightlight on the guns and the odd grenade etc needs painting then a matt varnish finish.

Ok the 5 squads of fire warriors are now finished, i have used a Matt varnish on them as there going to be used for gaming. It made them a bit more glossy than i would like but better that than paint chips when i have spent all that time painting them.

<-- Jealous!! I don\'t have any Broadsides for my Tau, and I can\'t really justify buying any until I paint an awful lot of minis.

That\'s a mighty fine looking Tau army. Almost makes me want to pick up my Tau and get a decent number of them painted... but Fantasy is so much more fun to play

Testors Dullcote, but if not careful it may yellow over time.

You probably want the brush on rather than spray on or you will lose your sect gemblems.
