This looks like a nice little project - I like the scene. I agree with the comments about the tree - what you actually need is not a branch, but the other end of the tree. The roots! If you can find a good root, the finer tendrils make good branches and the scale works well too.
I know you have done a lot of work on this already, but if I\'d spotted this post sooner, I would have suggested you made the water deeper and given the whole scene a more 3D effect by building the jetty up out of the water  Maybe your next scene
I\'m not sure if the figure is painted - I couldn\'t tell from your comments and I know she\'s meant to be a ghost. ATM she looks like a primed figure and I think she could benefit from the addition of a colour - even if it\'s only greys to make shadows or show the depth of her visage. Even a mix of blue/green and maybe purple (very watered down ofc) added as washes would make her look complete.
Good luck with getting this finished - I\'m really looking forward to seeing it
EDIT: I thought some pics of a recent ghost figure I did might help explain what I mean about using a colour
The one on the left is a WIP and the right is the finished figure. Using a colour stops it looking like a statue (something I struggled with when I did this) Hope this helps
