No GW blisters in stores...

This month GW changed some blisters to mail order only:

*EDIT* lol, iv just found a shop which sells Rackham in my area, so im gunna slowly convert over!

I heared from the Polish GW representative that they are concerned with the number of minis in hobby stores - It\'s just too much!
All the small stores lack the storage space, and thus are crammed with minis - no place to fight battles, and welcome all the customers!, So to help the stores they will remove the blisters ;) and place them in direct sales :] lol

Now I know why have they closed their forums - before taking this action he he he...

In my opinion GW is so much concerned about other companies - that they are preparing space for DArk Age Minis, Warmachine and Horde minis :D And for all the other companies buahahaha

i know in derby GW is the only store and my parents dont trust the tinternet:(

I will be lost(sad as it is:))without GW blisters

What the f*ck is the point? I\'ll still buy GW\'s minis but things seem to be getting a little out of hand now... removing all those blisters? Bloody stupid if you ask me :evil:

Which one is that? There\'s one in North Shields that I sometimes go to but the stock is a bit limited. The don\'t have the master of carnage, which is the only one I want for the forseeable future.

Sucks that they\'re removing Lysander, but I can live without the rest.

It\'s Travelling Man just down the street from Forbidden Plant in Newcastle. Can\'t remember the name of the street.

Heh , they think they will boost their sales selling minis directly to customers , and bypassing retailers ;)

Their stock ratings are plumetting down, so the recent price rise was meant to boost the stock a tad - the whole storage minis got a higher price, what did boost their GW\'s value a little - again a cheap trick...

I hope they will choke on this bone...

I also presume that GW will end as it has started - casting minis in an old garage by some hippies.

They follow the destiny of Target Games - the creator of Warzone , that is a dead game now, if you ask me...

Shame that they will screw 30 years of the company\'s history...

Actually, it\'s simply a space issue.

GW release new minis, they need space for them, simple as. They\'ve done this many, many times in the past. Some of the choices this time look a little odd to me but then i don\'t have the sales figures.

Guys before you panic and assume to much..Im sure if you go into your local GW store and say I need this and that blister..they will arrive for you in their next restock order just like their bits service they offer you.

I noticed this change at GD where they only had a few new release blisters and box sets.. they ordered blisters for you and shipped them post free.

Before you scream the end of the world.. go find out.

I don\'t think that mailordering will be profitable for small retailers - GW doesn\'t give a discount on MO ;) Also you ahve to wait about 2 weeks...

I don\'t think that GW will share Target Games\' fate. At least not in the near future ;)
