Spent yesterday in typical GD style up until 5am doing my entries, only got 2 done... 1st round is over, apparently they had a massive number of people registering, but if the Sydney store was anything to go by not many actual entries.
LOTR single was fierce with only my legolas entered, I barely scrapped through unopposed... Warhammer single was tougher, but again I just snuck through (although this being the weaker mini I fear I will fail in round 2).
If I\'d emptied my cupboards and entered something in each category I reckon I would have qualified in everyone, there were no or only 1 entry for half the categories...
The youngbloods was better represented, with some nice work. I actually think the new format may encourage more entries by the younger painters, for one thing it was only $8 to enter a bit more pocket money friendly than games day.
Well I\'m keeping my fingers crossed for Bronze in LOTR single
(oh and no pics, I forgot to take any and now those nice GW chappies have the minis to take to the next round, nice of them to save me a trip to Paramatta
)
