If it\'s at all possible, I would have to say that I\'m in love with a brand of paint now. Coming back from a hiatus from painting minis, I found it extremely hard to rehabilitate myself back into the swing of things while using certain kinds of paint. I needed something that could provide great coverage, yet be thinned down considerably to achieve great highlights.
The answer to my paint dilemma came to my door via USPS last Thursday. After reading through many reviews about great paint and asking around here and asking Matt and some others, I decided to give P3 a try. In an understatement, I love it.
This stuff is \'elastic\' and holds tension very well. I\'m able to paint on both white and black primer, getting nice, uniform coverage in about two coats. After getting a great basecoat, it\'s easy to thin the paint down to start shading and adding highlights. I\'m still getting the hang of the right consistency, but needless to say I\'m nearly spot on.
The range is fantastic with many great colors to choose from. The paint has a very fine and intense pigmentation to it and achieves some very vibrant results.
I\'m happy I got the entire set and I look forward to using these babies. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask! If anyone has any comments, feel free to post.
