Does anyone know how they paint on the flexable plastic like the prepainted D&D figures come or even the MacFarland dragons? What type of paint do they use and how do they get ti to stick to the smooth rubbery plastic.
Has anyone ever seen anyone repaint one of the Macfarland Dragons?

I painted the Rinoa Heartilly in my gallery. She\'s flexible plastic and yes she was difficult.

Just approach the figure in the same way but take extra care to make sure that your hands don\'t contact the painted surfaces. Paint will come off a damn site easy than off metal or GW plastic figures.

Also make sure that you do not apply too much pressure with your brushes as that can cause the plastic to flex and screw up your painting.

I\'ve seen people repaint the D&D fuggos and i\'ve repainted one. I\'ve heard some talk about useing acetone to strip the old paint off, i\'ve never tried so i can\'t say if it works or not. However when i repainted one all i did was use some good primer on the figure and then painted it like any other miniature and it worked rather well. DR is right that you have to be soft handed otherwise the soft plastic will flex and be a pain in the arse to paint.

I\'ve painted the WOTC star wars plastic/rubber minis.

Just paint as normal. (I use GW paints).
