Painting \"Sophie\"

I\'m about to start painting up the Reaper \"Texas Cowgirl Sophie\" that Anatora gave me in Exchange #4:

I\'m stuck trying to decide her skin colour. I don\'t just want to use a regular human colour, but I want something that\'ll go with her cowboy gear. I\'ve narrowed my choices to:

1. light or dark human with spots or something

2. demonic red/orange

3. ice-blue (like sivousplay\'s)

I\'m leaning towards #2 but would anyone like to give me a second opinion?

How about a dusky grey?

If you did a blue skin tone you could do her chaps in a black and white spotted cowhide pattern instead of a lot of brown leather.

I was thinking #2 sounded good because she\'s a texan and there\'s alot of sun down there in the south. Plus she\'s got those wings so she\'s all kinds of hell kitten so she\'s probably fiery all over inside and out. Might look good with some black leather pants, shirt, hat.

Might be funny if you made a little flame out the pistol barrel like those novelty lighters and put a cigarette or cigar between her fingers on her other hand.

Darn that\'s a cool fig, never seen one before. Nice score from the ME

Ok, seriously, now...

I think a darker tone, with a hint of red.
Maybe dwarf flesh with a bit of a sun-burnt look?

I like the blue idea. A transplanted Texan!!

A pale/icy blue would play well against the other items, especially if they are darker, giving nice contrast.

But, I am sure anything you would do will end up very cool.

I like the cut of your jib! \"Hell Kitten\" it is - a mix of Red Gore and Blood Red looks good so far. Everyone else\'s suggestions were great too though! Thanks!
