I love to paint. I can sit there for hours painting a single gem, if an only if it is a character piece and the gem is something important. Painting detail is what I enjoy most.
So I started with a Dark Elf army. Got a little tired of looking at dark elves and wanted something that would be quick to paint as a distraction; enter the Tomb Kings. Now some will say they can paint an entire unit in an evening - I do five minis without even getting past the bone. But I don\'t mind too much, I\'ll plod along, I\'m patient in painting. :innocent:
Where I have absolutely no bloody patience whatsoever is when I\'m cleaning a unit of 24 damned skeleton warriors prior to assembly. I hate that, I hate that, I hate that! Makes me want to put all the uncleaned bits in a packet and jump on \'em an\' squash \'em, an\' marmolise \'em \'an marinade \'em in battery acid... :flame: They should come pre-cleaned. They should come pre-assembled.

And with GW\'s often poorly cast pieces, they\'re just a friggin\' nightmare! :flame:
Sure, I have patience, but not for assembling plastics.

Thank-you, Margo, I really needed that. :innocent:
