Beautiful work. Finished product is really outstanding. I love the solution you found for the back of the coat, and as a bonus it differentiated the coat from the backpack. Nice!

If your work can't go to the gallery then no work should. Looking forward to see how this one turns out. Curious about that bike too!

Cheers,

@Maenas, @Gino2dope: Unfortunately mi airbrush work on the bike was terrible! I must save it with brush. :) I can not show it...

@Terrafirma: Take it as a personal challenge for good paint. :)

Bounty hunter is in the gallery, status is on waiting, so link will be later.

if someone asked me who is the best or one of the best "technical painters with precision, almost that of surgical wizardry" your name would be right up there with David soper,Darren Latham and all the others who figured out the just of this miniature painting artistry !!!! Job WELL done.

Thanks BaM. My local friends said it to me too, that my models are technically good. I think, comparing me with these masters is overstated. On other hand they said that my models missing something, they missing 'balls'. I don't know. I trying the best. :)

Today I made first tests on the bike. It takes few hours, especially inner parts of the front wheel was difficult. What do you think? Comments are welcome.

It's outstanding how you get that mettalic feel to the paint. I find it a difficult technique as I'm still struggling to paint a small part this way. Then you come along and show a bike that will be completely done this way. Nothing but admiration from me.

Cheers,

Working magic, looks really good!!
I can feel the difficulty of the inner part of the front wheel. I think bottom and mid "highlight/shine" are perfect, the upper one feels a bit "miss inclined" as if it were not following the perspective of the other two. But it can be an optic effect or something, and I can be completely wrong with my appreciation.

Hi Tomaz

I think the bike is coming along brilliantly but can see what you mean about the inner wheel. I think you may have a little too much going on in there. In most of the examples I've found on the Internet the bottom seems to be the largest brightest reflection point, relfecting the sky and bright white, which makes sense. You then get a few white/ grey reflections and then dark grey / black for the floor. Sorry I'm not very good at explaining things so I've attached some photos which will hopefully highlight what I mean.

Thanks Gino2dope, I must say, nmm on large surfaces is more difficult that it seems. :) It is big challenge for me.

Maenas and Dartmarsh, I must agree, that part of wheel is bad and I'm working on it. Thanks for nice reference photo!

And my Bounty Hunter is in gallery. Please fell free to vote! http://www.coolminiornot.com/383869

Sorry for lack of updates from last days. It seems that technical problems on this forum are gone.

This is new picture of the motorbike. I tried to paint next parts. I repainted front wheel, but result is almost the same. I stopped work on the bike. I must make decision about top part of the bike. Because some part will have more natural reflections than the body which has blue toned, I must make base for the rights colors on the reflections. For the same reason I will work on the female rider.

Edit: The bike is not perfectly upright. The small angle changes perspective of the reflections on the front wheel.

My first Authorized Bounty Hunter takes first throphy! It was second in the masters category of the facebook contest of the 'Eavier Metal group. I'm happy for that. :)

After more than one week I had some time for painting and the lady raider is in state to show up  She is still WIP, but some parts are very close to final looks.

You will became a master of the nmm or snmm or however its spelled, with all this practice ^^.
Congratulations on those awards, I think they are more than deserved! Your auth. hunter is really beatiful and would like to have a look at it live someday. Your huntress is following him closer, I love that greyish-blue tone that you obtained for them three.
