For me The point was it is part of my conversion from 99.99 percent of my collection being GW and gaming figures now becoming widened and occassionally focused on painting really cool figs that are not GW and not for gaming..... sorry if it offended but I thought \"my first.....\" would be somewhat shorter:D slap wrist, bounce head repeatedly against keyboard for penance won\'t do it againlol

I really don\'t think we should ban any kind of post or reply. That sort of blanketing always urks me. I think it is interesting when someone has a first from a company. I don\'t mind seeing comments please, those are usualy nice threads. I much prefer this over the whole here is my new mini. Sure the nmm v.s. MM thing gets old, it is as tired as the anti-bush garbage but it shouldn\'t be banned. It is an honest opinion.

We have moderators for these things. I think the only thing to ban would be inapropriate comments, namely ones of derisive nature. However, the moderators typicaly take care of this

rather than banning things being said - i think that people should HAVE to say a little somthing about miniatures they post even if it\'s just something like i really like the eyes/pose/weapon/whatever on this one. how long does it take to type that?

and of course the bloody txt spk

It irks me whenever someone is described as a \"painting god\". I know no one ever will but I wouldn\'t want anyone to call me that just because I can paint better than them. Doesn\'t feel right at all.

What\'s bad as well is this, goes hand in hand with the first one:
\"You bastard, I hate you! You are the reason I can go hang myself now because I\'ll never be able to paint as good as you! ...only joking, haha.\"
Yeah, very funny. I can hardly keep myself from splitting my sides.

And of course my all time favourite \"another mini\". Priceless.

I\'d say comments in other languages than english: even if the author is french/russian/chzek/spanish/italian or whatever and can understand what the comment means, i\'d like to understand it too!

or maybe should I take a foreign language course? lol

i think comments on this thread should be banned??!!?!?? lollollollol..sorry......good point about the language thing though, it\'s really irritating to have comments that you can\'t understand....i mean, i can do dutch, german and english, it\'s the spanish and french ones I don\'t get....:(

Believe me, I am completely anti-censorship. This was a tongue-in-cheek thread about things that might annoy various users here. Like I said, I would be quite pleased if I never saw an illogical statement on this site again, but I would NEVER try to take away anyone\'s right to make such statements. So if anyone (using my first example) wants to complain that they are getting a low score based on a picture that is so dark I can\'t even see what is going on, they are welcome to do so. Just like I am welcome to be annoyed by it. ;)


Man, I gotta stop starting threads..
