Now, I have another post to discuss my potential primer problems, but I would appreciate and enjoy some solid, honest helpful feedback as I am looking to transcend tabletop quality and break into display level.
First off, even at a low vote count of 10, this model was a 6.6. I personally feel that is low.
Some feedback I have gotten on other fourms is that it looks chalky, grainey and smokey.
Ok, lets go from there. Lets assume it has nothing to do with the primer and its everything to do with the blending or color mixtures.
I\'ve been told to try a satin varnish but I\'ll hold off on that to try some additional painting on it; i.e. some more glazing.
The trouble with the glazing is when I applied a blue/magneta glaze on the pants, it didn\'t soften the blending, it actually hurt it and the white highlights became more harsh.
So, I look forward to your comments and hope to learn from you guys. My ambition is to deliver 8.5+ submissions in the future.
