Now, I have another post to discuss my potential primer problems, but I would appreciate and enjoy some solid, honest helpful feedback as I am looking to transcend tabletop quality and break into display level.

First off, even at a low vote count of 10, this model was a 6.6. I personally feel that is low.
Some feedback I have gotten on other fourms is that it looks chalky, grainey and smokey.

Ok, lets go from there. Lets assume it has nothing to do with the primer and its everything to do with the blending or color mixtures.

I\'ve been told to try a satin varnish but I\'ll hold off on that to try some additional painting on it; i.e. some more glazing.

The trouble with the glazing is when I applied a blue/magneta glaze on the pants, it didn\'t soften the blending, it actually hurt it and the white highlights became more harsh.

So, I look forward to your comments and hope to learn from you guys. My ambition is to deliver 8.5+ submissions in the future.

a six seems fine for the back of a mini. you need to do a montage. a single front shot is acceptable but a single back shot aint

seems well painted and would probably be a fair bit more than a 6. not only that until you reach 50-100+ it varies a load

I agree with freakinacage...I just don\'t know how \'cool\' just seeing the back of a mini is! Everything looks fine with it though - yes, there is a slight chalkiness to the painting, but I\'m not sure that\'s a major problem. I want to see the whole thing - that\'s the problem!

Therein lies a problem.

How do I upload multiple pictures for a single entry?

Separating the direct HTML links wiht colons or commas doesn\'t work and uploading only allows one picture.

Here are all the photos I hoped to upload.

there are some articles on it (in the articles section) and look down in the photography forums.

Quick note - it depends on what software you have.

So, after some helpful input from another thread on how to post multiple photos in a single entry and using GIMP to adjust the color levels, here is the resubmission.

http://www.coolminiornot.com/231795

Now, I\'m coming to the realization that higher scores (above say 7.5) are possible only with proper photo submission.

I\'ve also noticed with GIMP/PHOTOSHOP it is VERY easy to manipulate the photol; smooth things here, add embelish a highlight or shadow here. I would hope most entries are honorable in this regard.

Adjusting the color levels seems fine, as it affords you the opportunity to bring the fig back to its appearance as the painter sees it and not necessarily the camera.
