This story really hits home. Why? This woman is my wife’s cousin. If you aren’t an organ donor, become one. My wife posted this on her Facebook page. I figured I would it here.
As my wife said;
“Are you an organ donor? Why are only 16% of BC residents registered? People like my cousin have to uproot her family to move to Ontario to get a transplant quicker, or should I say in time... CBC did a story on her that was on the news at 6pm today; if you click on the link
http://www.cbc.ca/bc/ it\'s on the right side about half way down. Please register, what have you got to lose. https://www.transplant.bc.ca/onlinereg/bcts.asp ”
I was really bumming because my blood sugar levels are too high and will not go down. Then I saw this. I feel more for her, her husband and her kid. I hope things work out for her. It just sucks she has to move because of a lack of donors. If you aren’t an organ donor, become one.
Thanks for reading this.
