If anyone out there is sympathetic to the varsity blues, it\'s me. I\'m struggling to get a bunch of papers, presentations and readings done this week when I\'ve got a crippling lack of motivation and a ton of distractions within arms reach.

Good luck getting all the real world stuff taken care of, hobbies sadly have to take a backseat.

Amen to that. I\'ve been without painting for almost a month now. I just got through taking my LSAT, and I thought I\'d be able to paint this week, but my profs. just bombarded me with a ton of new stuff to do. Great senior year of college so far....

Anyways, great work on your stuff Matt! How do you balance your comission work and your studies at school? The riders and horses turned out great. I really like the colors and you don\'t let the metallics take over the figures. Good job!

Thanks for all the kind words guys :)

I\'m working on the men-at-arms right now. Not feeling to knightly at the moment :) Should have the first group of 6 done this evening and hopefully I\'ll post them.

Simple really. School takes all priority. Any time that I am not working on stuff for my classes I am working. Since I quit playing WoW and don\'t really play any other video games, I find that I have enough spare time :)

If my mind serves me right, I believe you\'re one of the voices who told me to stop playing that darned game. I\'m glad I did as well!

It\'s a bit hard to resist now and again though since my brother is a beta tester for them and may be employed by them soon...

Great work though! I can\'t wait to see the knights done; I love those minis.

I do play the GW games. Warhammer Fantasy is my favorite. I have countless armies, most of which are not painted yet (and I only play with fully painted armies!) :D

I don\'t get the chance to play as much as I\'d like to though. Just not enough free time!

Take your nose out of the paint once in a while and play! What\'s your army of choice anyways?

I\'m in love with WHFB. My \"drink\" of choice is deamons, which have done pretty well so far this year (4-1). I\'d play more as well, but college comes first.

The Skaven shooty army of doom is my favorite. I also like a simple Hordes of Chaos list to lay the beatdown :)

I\'ve got quite a few others, but they aren\'t built or painted yet: Dwarves, Wood Elves, Bretonnians, and Empire. lol

Got a small update :)

I like the scheme for this unit a lot more than the green/yellow guys. I think I\'ll have to borrow this color scheme for some of my Brets later on :D

Casting the shields has been slow and steady. Still have quite a few more to make!

Awesome!

I have to cast some shields myself soon. I actually got most of the bases done for my army.

No idea why I did the bases already!

hijack alert!

Cheers guys :)

Bases look great Arma! Sometimes I like to do the when I get bored of painting. It\'s something different to work on, but I still am working towards finishing the army. :)

Those bases are very classy, Arma, you should be proud :).

Matt, I do agree with you on the color scheme for those guys. While the green and yellow provide a powerful contrast, I must say that I am quite fond of the blue and white/cream combination. I think it\'s possible because blue is my favorite color, but I think it\'s also because the colors are bold and stand out.

When are you working on the knights? That\'s when the magic starts!

Anyways, I busted my rear off last night with my studies (yes, I did a ton of homework on a Friday night) so I go to a Toga party and more importantly paint today! Now to get my painting stuff out and listen to some Boston while I paint some daemons.

Good job Matt! Always a pleasure to see what comes flying from your brush.

I\'m working on the knights here and there. The problem is that they take over twice as long, since there\'s horses, riders, and lots of bright fabrics. So I like to work on them over a longer period of time. :D Hopefully should have those guys done soon.

Working on more of the men-at-arms tonight. Got 6 more of the other pose, as well as the command group, should be done by tomorrow I hope, as long as homework doesn\'t keep my hands tied.

A toga party? Sounds like a blast!

I find that I paint best with loud, heavy music, such as the new Metallica album. Good stuff :D

Cheers Olaf.

Regal, Enchanted, and a touch of white for the blues, and Bleached Bone, Gryphonne Sepia, and Skull White for the white areas.

Got some school projects interfering with stuff at the moment. Should have the next third of the MaA unit soon. They are about 3/4 done.
