@Gin1906:
Anyone who does that to help a dog in distress gets an e-hug and e-kiss from me.

Guess I\'m a big softy for animals (wipes tears from eyes). OK

We\'ve had a Red Setter and a Cross breed Labrador, our current one is another Cross lab. She is the most loving, affectionate and characterful one of them all. And boy is that saying a lot.!!!

This is Chukki:

OK I admit I\'m a real softy!

Don\'t want to put a downer on things, but one of mine snuffed it this week.

RIP Dave the (female) guinea pig, 1997-2005

Scott, sorry to hear about your loss. have to agree with Finn, that is a ripe old age for a guinea pig. RedDawn sends her condolences as well. She loves the things, now shes making that squelling sound like they do. And she wonders why I keep saying no we can\'t have any...lol

Cats from hell...

Here are my two horrors. The black one is Hades. He is possessed by a very destructive demon. He is very affectionate but craves constant attention and shows his frustration/boredeom/contempt by wrecking my house. His sister Artemis is a lot better behaved but can be a grumpy cow too.

They both like to shed five times their own body weight in fur each day.

I used to have rats. Mina and Lucy were beautiful little girls but rats don\'t live long enough and it\'s heart breaking when you lose them to tumours after a very short two years.

I love that great dane photo, too funny! It almost looks like one of those photoshoped photos to enlarge the animal, you know the ones.

I also have a soft spot for lizards, although not spiders, yuck!

But just so you don\'t think gato creates all the destruction in my household, here is my other little goon, Ren

Yes! More cute aniamls. Even though I have a slight spider phobia I really like them, they\'re cool. Just not near me...

The lizard is cool too, and the Grand Danois is just too funny! lol´

Two cats and a bunch of minis...not a good combination :D

Our pets

This is our dog, Cupidon, as a puppy (about a year ago):

Here he is now:

Here are our two cats, Témujin (right) and Fiouze (left). They are very much like Jay and Silent Bob.

Here is Témujin when he squeezed into the dog\'s bed (the dog later finished destroying the bed):

And, finally, the worst pet of all, Thierry:

Granddad!
Thought I\'d take a better pic of bell (without me in the background) but this is the best I could get as soonas she saw the camera she started smiling & laughing & she wouldn\'t stay far enough away to get a descent shot...

bella1.jpg

she\'s just woken up now, and keeps prodding me with her nose to let her out
oh well probably a good time to go to bed anyhow

Tyler, my cat compamion

tyler2.jpg

Note the reeemblance to Eric\'s cat. Tyler\'s pushing into her late teens now and is big enough to pass for a small dog :D but she\'s still relatively spry when she wants to be.

Dauber she does look like my cat! Although ren is still young, only about 4 years old, and quite small, at about 8lbs (no I\'m not gonna convert that to metrics :p )

But I definately have a warm place in my heart for these silvery gray cats, they are very pretty.
