Not really true though.
It\'s still the only place where Frankensense comes from, and a 2 oz bottle of perfume made from frankensense can run you upwards of $2500 usd.

Willow is gorgeous.
Ziggy is none too shabby himself, but I love the torty patterns.
Sorry about your third.
My Buddy is poorly and we\'re counting our remaining time with him.

Yeah, and it\'s a bastard isn\'t it.

I\'ve noticed from sorting through pictures of Spike in the last couple of days that he has gone really grey. He\'s only four and he\'s as grey-bearded as me. I was kidding myself it was his natural colour until I saw shots of him from two years ago.
I\'m well-attuned to the fact that they are short-lived creatures, but it still hurts to watch them accelerate past you in terms of age...

Aww thanks Vince :D Willow is actually a brindle which is slightly different from a tort over here. Unbelieveably, W & Z are brother and sister - the other two in the litter were black and white ;) Poor Mum was rescued and already pregnant at 18mths old. I like to support the cats protection league - there are so many abandoned animals out there :(

Sorry to hear about your poorly pet - as Finn says, its very difficult as they get older and inevitability decline in health. But we wouldn\'t be without them :)

I used to work in a pet shop, and we had a guy who used to bring his blue and gold military maccaw in with him - and buy food for his cats.

One of the other customers asked him how they got along - he said the maccaw loved to chase the cats on the floor.

Oh, I can believe it. Since she was pregnant when found, you have no idea about the dad, or dads. Cats can become pregnant from multiple toms at one time, leading to a litter that has several different fathers.

Well, I\'m glad I\'m not a cat then. But then again, I don\'t know any Toms.....only a Peter

Aren\'t you afraid to step on them Naukhel? :)

Nope. When they\'re loose, I\'m usually sitting at my desk. And once their feathers grow back after their most recent clipping, they\'ll fly everywhere.

At long last, adding my pets.

Sorry I\'ve taken so long to get this posted here. These are pictures of my pets.

This is Robin, the Dog Wonder. I adopted her today.

Spunky, who I\'ve had since she was born. Her mom died and I raised her by hand.

Chou, so named because his tail curls over his back like a Chow dog. I rescued him when he as a kitten and the skinniest thing I\'d ever seen.

My first post and what a good way to start, here is a picture of my dogs.

The brindle Aglish Ron or Ron Ron for short, retired racer we got from Battersea Dogs Home. The other is Nikitas Hart, pet name Niki, again an ex racer who we got from a rehoming kennel.

Their favourite hobbies bin raiding and sleeping. Oh and chasing soft toys.
