HAha we have 6 cats
Iv\'e got a golden retriever, quite old and his name is Ringo.
And Iv\'e got two aquariums in the house, but fish are not \"cute pets\"...
The interesting thing is our garden:
Hedgehogs, frogs, lizards of several types, bird nests, cats, wasps and tons of ugly little snails - All there. The garden isn\'t that big...

These dogs are a quality breed. Only daschunds are better imo.

I own an 86 lb pitbull. I dont know how to post pics or I would. He looks similar to the brindle one already in this thread, but he\'s lighter in colour.

Patterdales are good dogs, too
According to what I\'ve read about the breed, Patterdale Terriers are derived from Bull Terriers, among others. It\'s part of what makes them such tough, tenatious little dogs. I\'d never heard of a Patterdale until I saw Robin on the pound\'s website. I\'m glad I rescued her.
Any dog can be good or bad. It\'s more the way the animal was bred and raised than the breed by itself. Even a normally gentle dog like a Labrador can be \"bad\" if it\'s abused.

Here\'s my dog (well, my family\'s). His name is Buster, and he probably is one of the laziest dogs on the planet, have you ever seen a dog sleep in a hammock? He does nothing more than sleeping and cuddling. Even though he is so lazy, he can jump really really high, and he even enjoys it It\'s actually his birthday today, 11 years old!

No doubt about it it\'s the owners\' fault. Famous quote \"there are no bad dogs only bad dog owners.\"
Luckily the highest court in Maryland recently ruled that you cannot assume that a particular breed is dangerous. This has all sorts of implications for liability if a dog hurts someone as well as condominium and apartment rules that ban particular breeds (basically they really will only be able to ban based on size, not breed).

If you teach your cat that about one in 4 times you call him you have food, he will always come when called. My oldest cat is named Buddy. I would not have named him that, but he would come when called because his previous owners were nice to him so we didn\'t change it. Also, never EVER use an animal\'s name when disciplining it.
Finally, Margo, what does your cat\'s name mean?
Concerning the name. Spes Bona Amouage is the name he was given at the cattery, following some weird cat-breeding-and-cat-naming rules. At home, we call him Amour, and he seems to like it. As for the meaning, \"Spes Bona\" means \"Good Hope\" (that\'s the name of the cattery, basically), and \"Amouage\" is, well, his first name. Apparently he was named after a... perfume.
