@Edgar.........Seth Nash gave me the tip of baking the clay at a lower temp for slightly longer and he primarily uses fimo.
I think a good tip is to test the temp of your oven in case the dial is out.
I have baked then re baked sculpey before with no obvious harm done.
I am going on the presumtion that the tin foil will reflect a good portion of the heat and at least prevent burning the done parts.
Just like a chicken....lol

@Angela.....It was sculpt from a photo of me.......honest.

I was wondering what the score was before, ergman you should be very pleased with anything over 8 for just a sculpt!

I rate it a high 7 or low 8 myself as it\'s partly quite realistic and partly stylised (and what\'s up with the left foot?) I\'m actually pleased you had the guts to do the genitalia as there\'s no need to be shy about this really and it\'s done quite well.

Excellent practice piece, lots of good training doing figures like this.

@Klute - mmm looks great then..i\'ll let you know the results when I try it:).

@Einion - agree with you , firstly I was looking the sculpt rating as for the \"technical level\", like I said before, \"as a sculptor\", but now I can understand why the people doesn\'t look at the sculpt in that way, I still like a lot the sculpt technically, but understand and respect people\'s point of view.

yes..he looks realistic because the anatomy works quite well in general, but to see it better this \"working effect\", I did more bulky the muscles, that\'s why the stylised look.

about the leg, the idea was (klute resumed very well the idea) trying to emphatise that he is more an sculpture than a miniature, a miniature has her own..independency, like he has a little human, and wanted to break this with the unfinished leg, now i\'m going to exaggerate more this zone, I think It would work better the effect.

Ergman; you are a great sculptor (and getting better all the time...I\'ve been watching!) but you must learn the essencial CMON submissions mantra....
Ignore the score,
Ignore the score,
Ignore the score!

I gave it 10.

ps.....I love the \'unfinished foot\' idea, but I think you should have taken it further to include the whole leg and perhaps some of the hips. Sometimes less is more...but often more is more. Subtlety is hard to achieve in miniature, IMHO. :)

Well said by all, especially on the foot. I think that the \'coming from marble\' bit would work well painted, but it looks .... um ... not quite so well here. Otherwise, I have nothing bad to say. The anatomy isn\'t totally realistic (certain muscle groups are more buff than they should be, given the rest of him)
, but it all looks intentional. I love it.

My email is zack_zoll@yahoo.com. If you decide to cast him, PLEASE let me know .... I\'d definitely buy at least one - very possibly more.
