((*I\'ve decided that, since I\'m actually working on multiple practice sculpts currently, I\'d post them all in here rather than create new topics))
Well, sadly, cool mini has become a site I visit less than I probably ought to, so I\'m starting this on here a little late in the project, but not too late. (I should probably mention that I have a terrible habit of not finishing projects)
Well, four months in Florida learning how to cut and shape metal for the government and I\'m bored. How could I be bored of the white sandy beaches and clear Gulf waters? Well, the white sand is actually what\'s known as Quartz and works like aluminum foil in an oven, cooking you on the bottom while you roast the top, and the clear water just means it\'s all the easier to see the jellyfish, man-o-wars, and sharks.
So in the mean time I\'m building up my sculpting ability with a full scratch sculpt. I\'m not too concerned with what it turns out as, but it acts as a good medium for working up my GS skills. Any advice on how to improve my skills would be helpful.
So, without further procrastination here\'s some shots of da boss as he\'s turned out so far, starting with some early pics. (In order to save some of those with slower connections and to save bandwidth I\'m going to keep the early pics as links)

I started with just a torso, I know, probably not the best or most well thought out place to start but I\'m doing this to see where it goes.
Eventually I built him some hands to go with those stumps

Then, after some debate on various forums and within my mind, I decided to change the pose a bit to be more accommodating of the stance I want him in.

And here\'s where I am now, looking at completing the legs, building the torso up a bit more, and working out a few details in general with his construction.
C&C and tips are most welcome.
