Pro painted ?????????????????? :eek::eek::eek::eek:

:rolleyes: someone here has too much self-consideration...

i rate it 1-2

the paint is really thick, blurry and not in line

no highlights, no shadows....

bah...

I agree with too much self consideration.
I definitely think you should drop the \"pro\"painted. It seems a bit ridiculous(it\'s below even tabletop level) ,unless it\'s pro-painted by a handicapped person.lol

hmm...

Come on, be nice :p

1 -2 is a bit harsh..I\'d say 4 as their is a bit of freehand on it and hilites (i think!).

The paint is too thick, and it\'s not clean enough, as it looks like the freehand brushes used are either too thick or person\'s hand shook too much (as mine does!). THe lines don\'t look crisp enough...

Not propainted for sure...but with some tips, could be improved 1 or 2 grade levels on the site I\'m sure.

I guess it depends what you consider table top worthy. If you adjust the brightness and gama correction you can see a fair bit more detail. Even still to me it looks like it\'s mainly just sprayed black with a couple of the icons painted and some decals. Most of the base and much of the dread look as though they havent been touched beyond the black primer. Some of it looks like even the primer coat didnt touch the model, see the claw. Personally I\'d give it a 4, minus 2 for the \"pro\" line = 2. But I do hate the way everything is \"pro painted\" these days, it\'s one of my hot buttons I guess.

On the other hand, a better picture could be all that\'s needed to show off this mini.

Using an informatical notation

if(BlackTemplar=BlackPrimer && BlackTemplar!=Highlighted)
{minisucks(BlackTemplar);}

lollollollol

i hate who says... it\'s a black templar mini! so the only thing that i\'ve to do is priming black!

:~( this is the sacred way to waste a cool mini.

pro painted means..you do it professionally..you make money doing it.THAT IS WHAT PRO PAINTED MEANS.IT is not a skill level.1st of all this model was primed skullwhite..and painted codex grey b4 a thinned down coat of black (3:1 paint to water)highlights..yeah there are some,but when highlighting a black model keep them too a min as it makes it look grey if you do too much.But,thanks for the advice and such.And, Tony Manero
get over your self pal.Have a good day guys

often pro means professional -----> high quality levels. The other thing... why u have primed it white if u have covered it with black? it wasn\'t simplier to prime it directly black?

I\'m sorry but no. Pro painted means GD level painting or above. And usualy pros don\'t use that formulation because of the abuse that has been done on eBay.

For now, I\'d say it\'s in the 4.5 region but could easily be higher if you went to read the article section or posted WIP in the WIP thread to get feedback.

Oh and Tony can be very proud of his work.

i have a lot to learn to achieve the level of Nano alexi_z and so on...

ps it\'s still a wip... i have to paint the rock, add water, adjusting some highlights and so on...

so... start lowering ur self-judjing level and start to learn simply the basic techinques... sorry if i was a bit harsh at the first time... anyone here is at ur disposal if u want to ask or u have doubts ^^

Cheer up boy!
