A couple of quick thoughts for upping the oomph of this model...
The rats on the floor all have flat black eyes & some of the teeth don't appear to be painted. The red rats tail is only half painted.
There appears to be no shading or highlights on Queek's toenails & on the biggest one a smudge of cream paint has crept up onto his foot where the shading line is. His eyes are unpainted (green hint perhaps but I want a glint not a hint). The green gem/warpstone on his necklace isn't working, there's a couple of great tutorials on this site for gemstones, I used them recently myself! The heavily shaded line on his right big toe makes it look as though it's falling off. Lots more definition in both shading & colour required to sort out the rope from the wood on his garden fence, I'd suggest letting the wood highlight toward greyer & the rope toward the greeny yellows. The hands on the fence remind me of Mickey Mouse's gloves, though that may be fault of the sculpt! Watch a few episodes of CSI & pay attention to the corpses colours! Unless you can stomach a Google corpse search, which I can't!
I could waffle on but I hope you can see how various areas can be worked on to improve the overall effect.
On my personal voting critearia I'd say this is a healthy 6 pushing for 7. 8 means making me really search for a niggle rather than being able to list a few, ie, technically excellent! 9 & 10 are reserved for models I actually like as well as being proficiently painted!
Lots of ambition on show, you just need to practise & refine your techniques. Keep up the good work that man :good:
Cheers, B.
