I love all miniatures.
Having said that I have gotten some truly horrible casts from Rackham. When I try to remove the flash/cast from the model I have to hold my breath so as not to snap their legs or arms off. Rackham is expensive, but you need fewer minis to start playing (generally speaking) GW has a lot of support for their figs/games that I like.
Rackham sculpts are beautiful but I have repainted/thinned the Red Lioness 3X and have bent her repeatedly just trying to paint her. I can appreciated the exaggerated anatomy on the female models but the overlarge weapons really turn me off.
GW sculpts may be a bit cartoony but even mediocre painters can put a decent paint job on them and send\'em off to war.
All the filigree/fussiness on Rackham minis just magnifies bad painting.
