The marking scheme of CMON is curious.
on what standards do we rate the miniatures provided on this site?
If someone posts a fully painted mini, then we mark it as if we were a golden demon judge - we base our mark on the painting, the conversion (if any), the base, and the photography (I might have missed something here, but i\'m not sure). so how do we mark a green of something? like what mark am i supposed to give something that isn\'t finished (like a lot of my stuff
).
it\'s all a bit odd, really.
like we get advised to mark a 5 as \'tabletop quality\'. I don\'t know many people who would put an original green of a miniature on the table and game with it. the same fact goes for WIP stuff. I won\'t game unless my characters are all painted and based and ready (ergo i don\'t play many games
). Back-rank characters, however, are generally fair game.
I\'m not looking for an answer for this, i just want to know what other people think about this.
