First let me say I know there are a zillion posts on paint selection, but I have noticed after reading many of them that there is very little info on the Reaper Master paints and that is the primary thrust for info of this thread.
I\'ve decided to simplify my life and that means new paints (ok, I\'m strange). I think I\'ve decided on Vallejo Game Color primarily to replace my GW paints (which are getting quite worn out) because it seems many of you prefer the Vallejo and the colors match so well, and I\'ve found an online seller that I\'m getting them from for less than $2us a bottle when purchased in bulk.
Now, I firmly believe a man (or woman as the case may be) needs more than one set of paint and I\'ve been vavering back and forth between Reaper Master and Vallejo Model. It looks like I can get both for about the same price (I can buy Reaper wholesale and the above online guy will do good prices on Model as well). I\'ve read lots of posts on the Vallejo but have very little info in these boards on the Reaper Master which I think I\'m leaning towards but I don\'t want to spend hundreds of dollars and be disappointed. Both lines seem quite similar, squeeze bottles, matte(r) colors, large selection of colors. Noone locally carries either so its a bit rough for me to do a comparison myself.
The sharing of any experience with Reaper Master and/or Vallejo Model would be appreaciated, with a lean towards Reaper Master because there is much less info in the boards out there (I\'m thinking that it might be only/mainly because many of the board posters are from the UK that the lean is heavily slanted towards Vallejo).
