I\'d appreciate some feedback on the Nmm, I\'ve tried to keep it dull and not too reflective.
Still to do: bases, lenses, detail on insignia, face and eyes, weathering.
Anything else you\'d like to suggest:)

About a 7 for me, the NMM looks a bit to dark for my taste but what the hell do i know, I can bearly use metallic paint.

Alright, as far as I\'m concerned they\'re done, unless you can see anything else that really needs doing.

Thanks to everyone for all the pointers along the way. I\'ll get a decent photo done over the weekend and post it up, and then hang it in discuss submissions. Next stop the plastic versions of the same (Groan)

Hi, I\'ve resurected this to add the plastics.
Constructive critism welcomed. (demanded)
I\'ve got hold of an extra lamp and a tripode so the photos should be better, I\'d like your thoughts on the photos too if that\'s ok.
I\'ve increased the highlights on the armour as some of you commented, I\'m not so keen first hand, but I admit it looks better in the photos, although now I think about it, painting for photo quality instead of imroving the photos them selves seems abit of a paradox, still its cheaper and easier than investing in a new camera et al.
Whatever here you go.........

These are dragging on now, I wanna get them done and out the way, pics.

In the first two pictures you can see progress on the plastics so far, which although they have less detail than their metal counterparts, are much more of a pain in the arse to paint due to all the nooks and crannies.

On the next two, you\'ll see one of the scouts mounted on the base at an angle. I\'m not too happy with the pose on the base, I think it because although he\'s stood at an angle, his cloak doesn\'t fall vertically, making it seem unnatural. What are your thoughts here, do I need to rebase him which is my current feeling?

The final pic is a shot of the base on the missle launcher, again, does it look like a suitable rubble base, or are the straight edges too prominent?

Thanks in advance for any critical feed back.

The pic is a bit too small to giv real critics. But if you paint them as those you showed before they\'ll for sure look great!

Edit: I actually like the guy on the angled base. The only problem is his cloak. I would choos a none cloaked torso and do a cloak with gs, or at least I would try...^^

Bigger pics.

The offender is at the top there. Thanks for your comment milb, unfortunatley, it\'s a little late to swap the \'gays\' torso and sculpt the cloak, as you suggested in your \'edirt\' lol (I wonder if that is all subliminal?)
At the moment I\'m leaning towards swapping him, or altering the base to make it flat.
Do the bases look ok in general, or are they too much?

OMG, really funny mistakes^^.lol

edit: Then rebase the \"gay\"... the clook looks strange...I mean strange then they normally look.
Bases are cool. Keep them!

Small pics, I know.
Rebased the guy so he\'s not at an angle any more. Easiest solution as the cape was really bugging me.
Three to go, any comments?

Your scouts are really impresive! But I more like to see the color-sheme on a marine. BTW: Where\'s the Vote???

I just shaded and high lighted the base base colour as normal, and then built up the camo patches in thin washes so the tonality of the base colour shoed through, easy as the brush gives you the irregular shapes without much effort, just keep the paint thin and build it up slowly.
