This thread had been moved to the Mods Only area due to the need for some editing.
Unfortunatley a technical hitch has prevented it being moved back. Margo has kindly reposted the thread and I have copied all the relevant responses below. (I\'m sorry that I had to remove peoples signatures but the entry was getting too cumbersome)

More tasteful than choking the chicken?

Since the first time I saw this mini, I liked it. But your conversion of it makes it look even better! I love it. Excellent work!(Did you sculpt those wings, or \'borrow\' them from another mini?)

Borrowed from a Pegasus. Not sure he\'s getting them back.

That\'s a fantastic paintjob, and the wings work beautifully.

I like this one a lot! The armour is wonderfully painted. I do think the wings could have been given a bit more depth. Also, I would like to see the back of the mini. I\'m curious about how the wings are attached.Still, it\'s only minor complaints on an overall beautiful mini!

I love the armor, that blue wourk incredibly well with this mini.

I couldn\'t take a good picture, the wings from the back are way too three dimensional, and my camera is unabe to capture the mini from that perspective, blurring the wings out However, if you\'re curious to see how the wings are attached, I can show you a picture just to see the conversion. Nevermind the quality of the photo, please ...

Loverly....Hey Margo, not been here for a while so it was a pleasure to see such a lovely model as I was mooching about catching up with things.Excellent paintjob and conversion. The armour looks fantastic and the addition of the wings makes a huge difference. Lovely! just picked it \'cos it rhymed with pillow.

Thanks Margo! That looks nice! A good way to \'hide\' the joint between wings and back.

Aha I got rid of the jump pack since it didn\'t make much sense now that she had wings. And used the little wings to cover the place where it used to be. Plus, she\'s got similar wings on her shoulderpad, as well as under her knees. So it all rhymes And thank you everybody for compliments! I\'m glad you liked the mini.

No wonder ... it will take a while till they post the event report to the Games Workshop Northern Europe website.

Wow that red is stunning on her. I had not really noticed it the 1st time around. Congrats on taking 2nd. Well deserved.

Very nice work! The blendings seems very smooth and I like the colourselection. the wings was a great improvement on a allready nicely sculpted mini. However you could maybe add more shading to the mini, some parts lacks contrast a bit.
leopardpixie posted on 7-2-2005 at 02:39 PM
Very nice, ... Now when ever i finish mine they are going to think that i copied you color scheem... But i\'m had it almost completed for a year now. BUt enough of my complaining, LOvely Paint job Margo

That\'s a really great job. I\'ve seen Celestine painted well so many times that I thought I\'d never be impressed by it again, but yours really works for me. The blue is so lush.

Thank you for your compliments! By judging from the pictures of Anjas and other people\'s work I\'ve seen published, I wouldn\'t bet on those pictures being very nice.. But maybe they\'ve learnt their lesson?
