That's just odd! I really don't like this diorama at all. It's quite well painted but the subject is just plain weird!

I'm comparing this to the elf rape thing and find it amusing how this is more acceptable lol!?! I just showed this and the elf rape one to my wife and she's of the opinion that this is miles more offensive! I reckon I'd agree. It comes across as a really wanky Benny Hill sketch. I actually thought that civilisation had moved on.

All, of course, imho!!

Njeah I don't think the subject is really weird, sure you've heard the song Santa Baby? It's visually more graphic than the Alien contact scene but unless she's going to stick his sack over his head and sodomise him with a candy cane it's morally far better, imo.

poor santa only gets to empty is sack once a year. nice title for a diorama.

Exactly the point! I didn't start out with this idea but Santa had a very surprised expression on his face and I decided to have some fun with it. It is doing well on eBay so, T&A sells.

Well, I was actually talking about the aesthetics of the two separate dioramas. One is a pretty high quality, really well conceived and gritty, if not disturbing bit of scene setting. The other is a tedious, tacky and tasteless pile o' shite, that really does nothing for either this website or the 'artist'.... I'm sure you can guess which is which. But hey! As long as there's a market for it ;)

@Beelzebrush: There is a border between giving harsh criticism and being downright mean. I think that comment was uncalled for and doesn't benefit this website, artist or yourself.

I wasn't talking about the quality of the execution of this, which as I mentioned earlier is quite good, but rather the naff and unnecessary content. Just because something has a market, it doesn't validate it. It's all a bit crass. I don't think my comment was overly harsh.... I dislike crap like this and as the 'artist' has posted an explicit image on a public forum, surely it's fair to expect polarising opinion. I'll stick by my comment avelorn, harsh or not.
