Scenario idea

Came up with a fun scenario. Save the civilians. I had posted it on a Facebook group, but figured I would share it here.

Thinking of adding "Civilians" as a game components
I have some "O" scale people, but some pedestrian looking heroclix could work as well, or even card board cutout standees.

The Civilians
-Are non combatant figures (Elderly, too scared, kids, etc).
-Each has 1 life
-Count as a noise token, same as Survivors
-Can only move up to 2 zones per round
-Will only move with a Survivor
-Are the first targets a Zombie hits if they are in a zone with a Survivor.
-Replaced with a walker when they are killed.

Was thinking of modifying the 2nd scenario in the original box "Y-Zone".

6 total Survivors starting at their locations. 2 in the top left room, 2 in the stand alone room with the X token and 2 in the bottom left room. Zombies don't Spawn in these rooms and place doors to separate the top and bottom rooms from zombies. To win, you must get at least three survivors to the exit.
If you're playing campaign style games, the rescued civilians can be traded in for companions.
That's my thoughts on them. Let me know what you think.

Even though they only move two, the Survivor that moves them can still take the rest of their actions. (either keep moving and leave them behind, attack zombies, search, etc.)

There is a mission similar to this in black plague, but the civilians are just objective tokens, I've not played the mission yet but I did think about having them as actual models that need to be rescued,

your idea sounds pretty cool for the older games, especially if playing as a campaign or RPG type system

Had a thought for another version for this. trying to get livestock through the map.
In the early days of the outbreak, while on a scouting mission, they find a barn closed up with some livestock. The quickest way to get them to our secure zone in through the city. But they are noisy, and slow, and stubborn. Dang things also spook easily.

Start with 3-4 cows/sheep/goats (whatever you have, or can pick up at the Dollar store) in the characters starting area. The goal is to get them to the Exit. They only move two zones at in a turn with an survivor unless they are bolting. If a zombie is in the same square at the start of the players turn, they bolt in a random direction (Assign dice numbers 1-4 for up, right, down, left. If there is no access to the direction or is a 5-6, they stay where they are. They move 1d6/2 zones rounded up and are considered to have Slippery for that movement.
