I\'d like the legs and shoes (were they consolidated into one piece?) unless somebody else would like to do them. Oh, and i\'ve gotten fairly good at doing faces after doing a choas conversion where i had to sculpt two of them joined together... needless to say it took a few tries:D i\'ve never had any of my sculpts cast, so i don\'t know the rules for that, how things need to be connected... stuff like that. So just don\'t send it to me last and wonder why the caster couldn\'t make it work!lol

Shoes and trousers have not been consolidated. That was just in case there would be a base. As to the holsters, I think that\'s part of the equipment, though you can check later on with the person assigned to the equipment how he feels about it.

As to the face, we need somebody with a fair bit of experience for that since a subtle female face is fairly difficult. Especially if you want to incorporate an emotional expression.

@green stuff: head/ wings whatever you gentlemen deem fit heres a wip for gd france next year, the angle of the photo makes the legs look short and he needs lots of work but you get the idea

Monitoring status

Hi All,

This fourm is great to discsuss and has out ideas, however for monitoring status it is a bit deficult to follow.

Can we come up with a status page and store it in the turorials section.

I would also be willing to host this progress on my web
site http://www.knights-code.com

Any ideas?

My opinion, I\'d prefer to keep all the information in this thread. I just saw the option to get an e-mail warning when somebody reacts to this thread, so that should make it possible to keep track of it.We all have access to this site, so we can post info directly when we have it. What\'s the opinion of those who did the painting chain?

Suggestion for the working order:

Following eachother:
1. making, posing the armature and freezing the joints.
3. fleshing out the visible muscles
4. shoes
5. trousers
6. torso
8. mechanical right arm and left arm
9. wing back piece
7. head
11. equipment (pouches, etc, ...)

Separate:
2. weapons: needed before the arms are made.
10. wings: needed before the wing back piece is made or as a step before the head.

Great!
My inital concern was losing info because everyone would have activly monitor the tread.

The notification option is a good solution. I\'ve already subscribed.

If I end up doing the arm, I\'ll just do the bionic one, not sure I\'m up to anatomy yet...

Finally finished the amature :
CyberAngelArmature.jpg

She\'s roughly 25mm scale to fit the background.

I used mesh wire as Ming-Hua suggested for the wings (thanks for the ref material); they\'re about 1mm thick so details can easily be added. If Orb or Tammy want some mesh wire for the bottom of the coat, I could put some with the package.

No super-glue was used so the top part of the body may move under pressure, put it should be strong enough to sculpt on.

To fit geographical constraints, I\'ve taken the liberty of reordering the list :
1.green stuff - France - making/posing the armature and freezing the joints.
2.minimaker - Netherlands - weapons
3.Orb - UK - torso
4.waxfive - UK - head
5.t_haye2 - UK - wing back piece
6.Medved - UK - wings
7.Itchy - US - trousers
8.Xavier - US - fleshing out the visible muscles (left arm I presume ???)
9.Trevor - Australia - equipment (pouches, etc, ...)/mechanical right arm

I know it seems a bit wierd (doing the torso before the legs), but I think the face should realy be done first, and that puts some serious geographic constraints.

Not yet claimed : shoes

Tuubje and Spacemunkie are you still with us?

Hi Greenstuff, how was holiday?

I pm\'ed all those who had not yet reacted last week but have not yet had a reaction from Tuubje or spacemunkie. Could be they are on holidays.

Working order.
Should work ok but I have one suggestion. The legs are usefull as a reference for the lower part of the coat. I would suggest adding shoes to the trousers and making a new stage \"bottom of coat\" after the trousers.

Weapons
I think it\'s easiest if I make them parallel to the rest of the project and then send it to the sculptor who will do the first arm.
The Seburo is copyrighted so I\'ve made my own design along similar lines. Here is a preliminary drawing of the gun.
gun.jpg

It has a pistol grip instead of the rifle grip of a Seburo since that works better for the pose we use. I also added a underbarrel shotgun/grenade launcher.
I\'ll work on the final details when sculpting. Comments?
I do need one measurement for the gun:the distance from the crook of the arm to the end of the handpalm.

Size:
25mm. Did you recieve the last drawing I send? The 1:7 diagram of a female? You could scale that down (and adapt the body if you want) as a size diagram and add it to the figure so everybody knows what size we\'re aiming for.

Nice work... i voted and left you comment... personally i think she\'s leaning back a bit and needs some more detail to the hair. Other than that, top notch!

Gun looks great by me and i\'d be more than happy to do the boots with the pants.:)
