Holidays where great (got a Dremel :bouncy::flip::bouncy: )

Thanks Ming-Hua for contacting the others. OK for the combination of the trousers and the shoes and adding the \"bottom of coat\" stage. For the weapons, I thought they would be part of the body (so it would be easier to sculpt the arms if the weapons where done before IMHO). If you\'re worried on the time it\'ll take to sculpt; don\'t, we have no deadlines ;). Great gun design :).

Yep, I got your last drawing (I\'ve been having problems with my e-mail recently), but I\'ll do as you said.

Very nice sculpt Medved. Are the wings attached?

Cool, I\'m reworking my steamroo report now and it includes and description of how to use a powertool as a lathe.

Thanks Ming-Hua for contacting the others.
You\'re welcome. I just saw spacemunkie in another thread but he\'s not online right now. I think he missed my message.

Actually, I intend the sculpt and cast them so I can use other casts for my own sculpt. :)

@Medved. Nice first sculpt. I think I gave some comments already in this thread but not yet on the wings: they look quite good.

Still interested with a ticket for the french GD or are you planning on getting it on the web?

When they\'ll start selling them, I\'ll start a topic to see who else is coming. Right now, as far as I know, there is Frenchkid, Waxfive, PF, and Asphyx.

Ming-Hua : could you please PM me your address so I could send you the armature for size and volume reference?

Those who don\'t mind giving their address can PM me too and I\'ll put the list in the package. The others can do specific PMs when the time comes.

As I\'m the second in the list I\'ll make some tools which those without sculpting tools can use. It will probably be a copy of the set used by Tom Meier since those are effective and easy to make.

Sorry, I\'ve been pretty busy lately (job + CMON charity army project). The armature is wrapped and has Ming-Hua\'s address on it, I just need to find the time to stop by the post office. Should be sent at the beginning of this week. Sorry again.

For those who are working on mechanical parts, I\'ve just finished and uploaded my articles on making my VIP2 steamroo over at 1listsculpting. There are several techniques in there that could be usefull.

They are in the member\'s file/faq section:
http://shorterlink.com/?IA6V1R
If you\'re not a member of 1listsculpting but are a member of yahoo:
http://briefcase.yahoo.com/minimaker3
And if all fails, PM your e-mail address and I\'ll mail you the files (note. 475kB pdf or 435kB zipped HTML).

Bye, Ming-Hua

Brushlicker and Freak!
I can\'t seem to get into the Yahoo link at the moment, but thats gonna be very useful.

Is there any news about how far its got yet?

In the meantime I\'ve made these tools that I will add to the package:
tools.jpg

They are based on Tom Meier\'s tools and can be copied for your use (yes, he knows of it :) ) if you like. As you can see from Tom\'s figures it\'s possible to make anything with these. I\'ve included them for those without sculpting tools.

Ming, master of creating sculpting tools :) I have been courious about Tom\'s sculpting tool. Now I get to try ... I suppose I can always make one.

A few questions

1) Is the list posted earlier on the fourm the order in which we will receive the mini?
2) I noticed the lower jacket is mentioned as stilll unclamied. If it is still unclamied I\'d like to claim it.

Sure, Tom\'s drawings are in the 1listsculpting files section.

As to your questions. I\'ve got the feeling both are \"yes\". :) Green stuff? I don\'t think that Tuubje and spacemunkie are joining us.

That reminds me, my perferred choice of putty is Magic sculpt. I know most others will use Green stuff. Do we wan\'t to standardize on one putty (Green Stuff)?
