@jimbob1066e : No problem since we\'ve had some disappearances during the project, you\'re in :). Could you please PM me your address so I can include it in the list that goes with the mini?

@Ming-Hua : If you still have that mould for the guns than maybe you and I could send the guns and the armature directly to the next person.

Hmmm mayhaps we are all a bit confused here... I thought I was \'in\' six months ago when Ming said yes, and I sent him my address, and I showed up on the \'order\' list... and you \'welcomed\' me on july 24th hee hee (I took over itchy\'s spot...)

And yeah, so I have had a few pints this evening and am probably missing reality a bit. So, in that vein, and to follow orders, a pm is on the way! :p

peace :D

I\'ll sit this one out, if you don\'t mind. I\'d love to get involved again, but I know myself too well now!

best of luck

Yup, I\'m still in. And I should still have the gun mould around (hope they aren\'t damaged).

Are we going for the same design?

put it in the fridge then (and make sure the missus or young \'un don\'t try to eat it!). i tend to cut mine into sizeable chunks and freeze what i\'m unlikely to use for a few weeks. it only takes about 10 mins to defrost anyway.

c\'mon guys i can\'t wait to see what you come up with

Hi,

let\'s see if we can get this organised. Going from the previous setup it was:

1. green stuff - France - making/posing the armature and freezing the joints.
2. minimaker - Netherlands - weapons
3. torso
4. head
5. Medved - UK - wings
6. Itchy - US - trousers+shoes
7. Xavier - US - left arm + lower end jacket?
8. Trevor - Australia - equipment (pouches, etc, ...)/mechanical right arm

Jimbob wants to join in and Medved wants to take the head. Ok, so who else is joining in and who wants a reshuffle of the tasks.

Hmmm I thought we covered this one page back... I took over for Itchy four or five months ago and even showed up on the last two or three \'who is doing what\' lists hahahaahah.

First Greenstuff, now you Ming Hua... I swear you guys are going to give me a complex!!! :p

Anyhoo, yeah stick me where you need me, or keep me with pants... I just want to help.

peace :D

Thank you Ming-Hua for getting things back on the move. RL has been catching up with me really fast these last days. I\'ll try to make the armature as quickly as possible. I know you\'re busy too, but could you please follow up the list of who\'s doing what for the time being?

Doh, forgot about Itchy. Sorry. So, Jimbob, what part do you want to do? Still the pants?

Is Angus still around? We have a place left. :)

By the way, I haven\'t looked for the gun mould yet but I\'m sure either have it around or at least a \"cast\" or two.

Update

Okay here are my updates. I\'m still in I\'ll also sign up for the torso.

BTW if we did change the design. Let\'s make the overall mini easier since most people seem to balk.

Origineel geplaatst door XavierLet\'s make the overall mini easier since most people seem to balk.
I think that the toughest parts will be the wings and the head. The wings since they are pretty complex and mechanical and the head, well, it\'s a head. :)

One thing we could do is to make the figure a little larger (i.e. older or just taller). This will make things easier in a general sense.

I don\'t mind taking on the wings since \"mechanical\" is something I\'m good at. Unless somebody else wants to do them. :)

Looking at logistics, how about this:

Done: minimaker - Netherlands - weapons

1. green stuff - France - making/posing the armature and freezing the joints.
2. Medved - UK - bulking out + head
3. Minimaker - Netherlands - wings
4. Jimbob - US - trousers+shoes
5. Xavier - US; torso + lower end jacket
6. Trevor - Australia - Arms and equipment.

Brushlicker and Freak!
Lets stick with this design, but make it a little bigger, we could go for a 35mm or something.

If someone could give me dimensions, then I could start making mock ups of the arm. In fact is it possible to do the arm now and attach it later?
???

Well if my two cents is worth any more than that - ahahah, I say lets leave it at 28 mm ish. That way there is more application on the finished end. Lets be honest the jump from 28 to 35 is not really that big (especially compared to 28 to 15 lol).

Ah, you know what there may be a point there for intricated details and all - ah heck, I officially relegate my post to \'wishy-washy\' status.

Well, although I\'m not involved anymore, I would suggest incresing the scale; she was small before and a size increase would help.

However, the weapon has been done so its set in stone really

@minimaker: i\'m fine with what you have allocated to me. my confidence levelsare up and i have some new putty on order.

keep with the 28mm scale. this is a mini after all, and it\'s not going to be as easy as some of us thought..........but hey! thats how we learn!

Hi,

I wasn\'t that much thinking of jumping scale, but more in the line of making her older or taller to increase her height.

As to the weapon, no worries about the scale. I\'ve used it here too: http://www.coolminiornot.com/article/aid/354 and this figure is a tad bigger. Just needed to increase the length.

Working on the arms in advance? Technically possible if we make sure all measurements are set in advance. Toughest thing will be to get a good feel for volume when you don\'t have the body of the figure.
