nah this one\'s just a personal piece to get the hang of working in wax. GW IP could have a field day if I even thought about releasing it

thanks chap, I try :)

thanks,
only one side of the face has some rough texture in it , once I get the hang of wax carving then I should be able to create the whole face from just the rough outline on the left side. For now though i needed one half of the face a bit more advanced just to get the hang of it :)

some more...

And here is some more. I have since these pics, begun doing the arms.

It was my error. I forgot them as part of the skeleton. So I now stuck a wire into the body but it doesn\'t feel that sturdy since that wire isn\'t holding onto anything on the inside. Hopefully I will finish soon so that I can bake it... The fingers, feet, spikes/bone plates will be done in apoxysculpt after.

I purposely left the wing membranes very rough, etc as I want to give those areas washes/glazes to make it appear like the wing has warts, wrinkles, cuts, etc in them.

Looking very good indeed, Sanjay :) The wings are nice and effective, and the face is excellent! lol All I\'m wondering is how such a hefty fella could fly :D Anyway, an awesome job. Keep going!

@ sanjay, nice work so far. do you intend to build up his deltoids, because they look a little small compared to the rest of his arms

not really

after it\'s baked..the teeth, fingers, weapon, armour, feet and wings will be added.

apoxysculpt used to add the wings to the torso and will have to then sculpt over some parts, so will prob redo the musculator on the back a bit. I\'ve left the back very rough now as it will change.

Then i have add flames from back of his head all the way down to the tail and bony plates along back and tail + some spikes.

*Just* started on this one, pic is a day old so there\'s a little green on the armature now; I really like Skarre but always hated the pose, so this one will hopefully be a bit cooler. I saw the Epic Skarre, and this will be a similar pose, but I dont really like the Epic Skarre model very much either.

Still deciding if I want to chop up the original and use the boots/shoulders/head, or if I should do all original over the armature....

will post updates soon!

It\'s Mannoroth...one of the burning legion demons from warcraft 3 (and also in the D&D Warcraft D20 rpg monster manuals).

He is still not done. Quite a bit more work to do.
