regarding the ring - liked the first. not too scary but very well done. the second was a little disappointing

Its hard to see what going on with you mini fred as the close shots are too blurry and the long shots dont show enough detail. From what I can make out it look pretty awesome. Is it a 40K nurgle dood (The scyth) Would like to see some paint on it.

Yes Fred you need to be more carefull with the pics you put up. I dont mean to be rude but people will just skip past photos that are bad and the good ones will be overlooked.
It looks like you have good detail on it and the setup looks good.

El Guardian.....very smooth as ever. I think this one I will like more than the others with the \"snake\" bodies.

I use basicly Fimo and greenstuff, i use Gs first to \"glue\" Fimo to the wire and then once the fimo has been baked to add the final details to the piece, sometime i use brown stuff too, but as much as the green, mainly for the blades and weapons. The legs are already done will post a picture with the legs as soon as i finish the wraist.

Abput yuors i would really like to see a goo picture, maybe a bit of photoshoping just to cut it into shape and reduce its size would be nice next time

its my camera, still getting to grips with it (sigh) my sister has digital SLR but she lives about an hour and a half away and probably wouldnt let me use it..... i\'ve tried the tutorials but none of em work... but hey, i\'ll keep trying.... might repost images of this guy...

btw my camera is a sony cyber shot, model DSC-P100.... 5.1 mega pixels, good for everything but mini\'s

Fred what sort of camera are you using. i dont think you need to use a magnifier just how to use the camera.

The guy looks good. Nice and diseased which is a good thing for nurgle.

lol i don\'t think i could have put it better myself!! it seems the hips are too wide. if the top of the \'thigh\' connected straight to the \'pelvis\' it would look a lot better. i know it\'s not up to you though...

@fred - looks good. nice sculpting on his arse crack!!

I think it;s more appropiated to post this here instead op the WIP thread So here goes, this is my Terminator Librarian I\'m converting, and eventually painting, for a good friend of mine, who\'s birthday is coming up. It\'s for his D.I.Y. chapter the Dark Redemptionists. Still somewhat of a sculpting newbie, 2nd attempt at making a cloack thingie. I\'m happy the way the folds came out. I\'ve done this by getting some baking parcement and rubbing it in with olive oil. I put a blob of GS on it and fold it double. Than I use a heavy book to flatten it and even it out. Then simply cut out the cloack shape, bend to folds and use a sculpting tool to blend it in the armour. Very easy to do and with good results. I switched some time to using olive oil to keep my tools lubricated. Works very well for me Here\'s the libbie:
