Sounds like the same guy, but ya never know. Of course, I wouldn\'t be surprised if it is the same dude, since Seattle is such an incestuous small town. ;)

Hey hey hey! I didn\'t say ANYTHING about the size of his paint brush! :p

Seriously, no I wouldn\'t be surprised. I think he did mention hanging out at G&G a lot.

@ Drake - Everything we want huh? Well we got rain...check...more rain...check...some wind...check...and ummm...a noticeable lack of days that are suitable for rattlecan painting. :D Just kidding. I actually had entertained thoughts about moving out of Seattle when I was unemployed, but I\'m too lazy and I like parts of the city too much.

Well yes while we do have some rain, we also have some of the best overall climates, never too hot or too cold. Plus we are always green, hence the evergreen state. :D

I to have thought about moving somewere else and I always find reason\'s not to. Born and raised in Seattle, and I will most likely die in Seattle.:D

That\'s what I always say to people who complain about the rain here: that if it didn\'t rain so much, it wouldn\'t be nearly as green. ;)

That, and it makes you appreciate the sunny days a lot more. I lived in Hawaii for 17 years, and I usually looked forward to the cloudy days there because it would be cooler. :p Guess it\'s all relative in the end. Or \"the grass is always greener in Seattle\".

Kinda off/on-topic, wonder when Anthony is gonna motivate us to try to get together next?

That, and we\'re already moving into drought season in Washington and B.C.

I\'m hopin\' for lotsa rain this year.....

Yeah, but I noticed that even when it was cloudy in Hawaii, it was still hot.

Not sure when we will get together again, you said that you are busy this weekend. Maybe the 17th or 24th would work.

@ Nelson - True...snow pack is apparently at almost historic lows. Fun times. On a kinda side note, you should join the Seattle Area Paints yahoo group, Nelson. Maybe you can make it down one of the times we get together or something.

@ Drake - Weather in Hawaii is a little spastic sometimes. My mom was telling me that a month or so ago there was a week where they had winds coming out of the South (we call \'em Kona winds) for the beginning of the week, so it was nasty and humid and hot. Then later in the week a tropical storm came through, so it got cold and really rainy.

My favorite story about the weather in Hawaii is when my mom told me to go get the mail, and I looked out the back door and it was pouring rain, so I grumbled and got up to go out front...totally preparing to get soaked. When I got to the front door, it was brilliant and sunny. Double take. Look out the back door again...pouring rain. Look out the front door...sunny.

I have seen weather like that here to. Mostly in the mountains when I was backpacking. Rain on one side of the lake sunny on the other.

Heck this past Tuesday(March 29th), it rained then cleared up and was sunny, then boom thunder and Lightning, rain then hail, more rain then it was sunny. This was all within 45 minutes.

Yup...I think I vaguely remember that day. My memory of last week is pretty sketchy though, since it was busy as heck with end of quarter here at work. Then I went to the Mercury and drank way too much. End result is a hazy blur that goes back to...umm...last weekend I think.

Oh boy... you go to the Merc? That means you most likely know quite a few of my other friends; they frequent that place.

@ Valander - Of course I go to the Merc. I hang out with Aron, remember? :D I might know some other folks, but I usually don\'t socialize too much at the club. Who knows why? ;)

@ provoke me - Let us know. Sounds like we\'re getting a little mini club (no pun intended...okok...sorta intended) up and running over here. Should be good for a waste of several hours. ^_^

This just keeps becoming a smaller and smaller world. :)
While I don\'t go there too often on the big weekend nights anymore, I do DJ there once a month. Me and my crew have been doing a non-merc merc night for the last year. Tangent, 2nd Sunday of the month. Infact, thats this weekend!

So, I haven\'t seen anything on the SAP group yet. . .is there a meeting scheduled for this weekend?

I was kind of thinking about this weekend, but Equus is not available, and I actually have some other stuff I really should do, so it will probably be next weekend. I need to check the polls on the group page to determine whether it will be Saturday or Sunday, though from what I remember it looks like most votes were going for Sundays.

I\'ll make sure to send out an announcement on the list.

Well Sunday\'s work the best for me. Usually doring the early part of the day, as I have to work @ 5pm.

On A side not just had the chance to look through (and vote) your gallery blackfly. You have some real nice mini\'s. :D

Wow...sounds like we could do SAP night at the Merc too. :)

I should be free for this weekend. I have this weird nagging feeling that I\'m forgetting about something that I\'m supposed to do, but I have no clue what it is. :p

Just got back from the 1st SAP meeting, it was fun to be able to see the faces behind the mini\'s. Thanks to Anthony for setting this up. I can\'t wait to be able to group paint. :D

W00T! That was fun. It\'ll be even better when we get to sit around and paint! Although it is really neat to meet people face to face and see their minis face to....er...little faces.

EDIT: I\'m posting on the weekend?!?! HELP MEEEEEEEEE

I usually post on during the week from work. I was just excited about this weekend, I guess, so I was online, which is unusual for me. :D
