Thanks so much ter and moe! Love you guys. This was Ine of my tougher paintjobs but pulled out all stops even added reflecting/shine lines and hotspots! Very basic because I'm just getting into these additions to my highlights so it will take some time toaster but here's a comparison of my older lubrarian and my newer more contrast included lubrarian enjoy :View attachment 39422View attachment 39423

Yeah I don't know what it is, but I'm not a fan of that sculpt either. Yet the Blood Angel one is not too different, yet it's 1000x better. Anyway, you made the thing look good.

model and pictures aside the painting is looking good and thats what matters, the bagel damage looks real. looking forward to seeing better images though so I can appreciate the painting better. I guess he'll be finished next time as i see him as you paint so fast :)

Bagel damage .... Is that the dad gut thing that Scherdy is talking about

I'm working on a new project while I'm bangin out oistene commission I WILL NOT POST w I p for this projects as to further build up the shock factor when it's done...in my opinion this is not an easy model it's not very large but large enough..the detail and embroidery is very tedious and time consuming so even by my standards this will take quite a while..I will for the first time in a long time SLOW everything down and take my time...maybe a month maybe longer but I do promise to turn some heads on this model...stay tuned folks!!!

Thanks ter !! So for the last 6days I've been working on oistenes commission alongside a personal project . I primised everyone a finished product and for the most part he's got along way to go but I have achieved enough for a shock factor . This model was the last 6days at 6 hours. -8 hours since last Sunday night. So here he is . He's a very tough model but one that allows high profile painters a chance to paint a truly beautiful model. IMHO he's the best out of all the primarch a he has for the first time in a longtime very "limited weathering " so as to show the beauty of the model. I only really went to town with the hawk torquoise on the yellow bras . So without further ado I present to you one of my best works to date-FULGRIM -1000 sons primarch -View attachment 39581View attachment 39582View attachment 39583View attachment 39584

Awesome work--and in only eight hours??? This shame I feel...

The only thing that stands out to me is the sword, which I don't think showcases your real skill with metals the way previous projects have.

He said I think 6 days of 6-8 hours work.

Beautiful work! The armour is stunning. I agree with Sionid though, the sword is a bit lacking, particularly the pommel seems unfinished to me. Might be the picture, might be that you need a bit more work on it.

Lol yeah guys what I was trying to say was he's finished enough to post a progress shot..but I'm glad everybody likes it so far he's quite a tough model...but hang tight I'm trying something new I just read up on for the sword.stayeth tunedeth, still got a long long way to go I'm not even talking bout the sword, cape, gun knives etc ,the base is so big with lots of dead marines.taking my time slow and steady wins races accept in the bedroom.. :/ no comment..

That's the only Fulgrim figure I've seen that I like ,all others look like he is singing not yelling .
can you do me a favour Papa , back the shading off under his cheekbones a bit his face is awesome but that sharp shadow gives his face a gaunt feel he looks a little skeletal just on his cheek bones .
love how you have backed off the weathering and blood and concentrated on the armour , love it ... As one of his Emporers Children would say ..."Perfection "
