Terra your gonna laugh but it's been addressed twice reason is even with no shading it is such a deep cut in the cheeks it's hard to believe but you know how you have to exaggerate shades and highlights on a model because they don't create shadows under normal light ... Yeah well this model does I should've took a pic of him before the shading under any light he has a deep shadow in the recesses under the cheeks. It's like an awning his cheekbones made. No matter how light I went. This guy has black looking cheeks. I wish it was my painting wizardry that created that deep shading but I can't take credit. And btw he def looks skeletal right out of the box. Don't really know much about FULGRIM or any GW game for that matter but I began calling his gaunt face nagash. True story.

Fair call Papa , I haven't seen the model in person . I just know his fluff .. He is supposed to be the most handsome of all the primarchs maybe like Zoolander with power armour .

Yes Fulgrim, of the Emperor's Children or more widely known amongst the legions as The Foppish Dandies. Though, in post heresy days the Blood Angels and Ultramarines would compete or the title of prettiest fancy boy legion :p

Sword looks brilliant looks to be reflecting colours from around him.
looking through some of my figures yesterday I found the Kabuki miniatures version of Fulgrim , in my opinion a nicer sculpt . Maybe you could paint that for me Johny ..

Truly love what you've done with the sword there... I need to learn how to do blades, don't be surprised if I copy that some time soon.
