Don't shoot me....but is there a mold line just below the blood stain on his right shoulder?

The paint is looking great as usual. For the pattern on the hanging sash look at photos of rockers like Keith Richards or Steven Tyler.

Awwwwww shucks shel, your quite welcome and to here that from a raw talented up and Comer is really very wonderful feeling.....Remeber this with these forums thee are great people here and then always some not so great folks though I haven't met any yet,but take the criticisms on here as 1 can it help me and can I use it or do I want to do that I don't feel Ide like that direction....it's the yays and nays that will groom you.just because someone scores higher than you or I doesn't mean the fit is necessary or pertinent to one's style...there are many wonderful professional artists that are miles above my level technically but doesn't mean I like their type of painting....some like saturation in there colors some like to desaturated their colors (that's my favorite) some like a comic book art on style some like realist style...nmm vs tmm it all depends on what you like and what motivated you to get to this point your at now...so stay frosty and you'll be hitting the next level up ....of...INTERMEDIATE PAINT SPLATERRER!!! ;)

:D

That's my general take on advice on the forums. Some may be applied immediately, some may spark another idea and some is stored for future reference. Glad you know that I listen to your advice, even if I don't apply it all the time. :) Sometimes you've got to experiment and make mistakes to realise the value of advice.

YYes very very true and my furthest point practice practice practice.....humans start off as infants and crawl....but how do we end up walking..it's very easy..EVEN AT A YOUNG ARE WE AS HUMAN LEANN EVERY SINGLE THING ONE WAY.."WE LEARN BY DOING" .a baby tries it he falls until enough tries and he walks....plain and simple..:)

Face is looking Grand. Loving the extra around the eyes. The thin - thick - thin lines work well on the other mini that Bailey found. You could look up the eara he is from with fabrics something might come up. Lol pirate squiggles could be good though. Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

Looks like it's all pretty fancy or simple. some thing like the lines would be hand stitching embroidery.

The extra work on his face really elevates him from "cool" to "oh wow". I'm keen to see what you do with his sash - it's an opportunity to add some colour/spark to an otherwise relatively dark scheme.

Hi, I just passed by and I have must say you that your band of Vikings is impressive, really inspiring. Normally I do not participate much here by issues of language .. but in this case I had to tell you how much I liked these miniatures. I didn't know these miniatures but certainly in the future I'll buy some Viking Andrea .. xD

By the way, what is the manufacturer of the shaved guy?

Greetings and thanks for sharing

That is one grimy pirate, but he's still got swagger! Given how you've got his eyes very intently looking at something, I hope you're planning something cool for a base. Should be fun to imagine what might be holding his attention (whether or not you actually represent it on the base).

Well because its a crystal brush entry ill be going something well within my comfort zone... And still an attention grabber from those judges... I played it safe , I'm not much of a modeler but painting -.. Well I definitiey know a thing or two about that!!! So the base ill be using ,baily knows what I've got cooking. Ill wait until it arrives before I show my prude and joy.

I have a suggestion: you might want to change the shape of at least one of the blood stains on his shirt. At the moment they're a bit too uniform/the same. Even just a few drops coming down off one would create variation.

RI got now as it stands what these last photos were seeing are different from #4252 the pic right after arkheon logs in with a comment and are further in a difference from what I'm seeing in person in front of my eyes.so I think to solve this problem I'll be taking a proper pic with the cannon t6 I rebel. Than well address the I case of the same blood spots.lol ..I'll need the aid of Jan on the photo debt as I am not much of a picture taker. :/
