Thumbs up on the basing idea. Maybe add some moss and spilled dried blood....and pigeon poop!
I second the moss idea, and I think it's a safe bet that there will be blood (it is a BAM mini after all). Perhaps for added realism you should use real pigeon poop...

Okay so here's what you do go to a individuals web store .hes a 77 year old man who sculpts nothing but scenery...every kind. His name is none other than Armand bayardi!!! Hmmm rats. I don't have but I can find them..my scenery bits box,makes it so easy for me instead of making scenery I just have to paint scenery...painting ...now that I can do...

Awaiting 2 more minis for my ork frost hound clan. Ill let everyone know when complete. For now I'm always working in pieces or ideas geared towards comps and crystal brush is my biggie. So I decided to try my patience at something bigger for the categories of sci fi vehicle and fantasy minster. What better way to get practice than choosing a rider. Now THIS IS NOT AIMED AN AN ENTRY FOR CB. But I'm just trying my patience at things this size before I commit. So a chaos varaguard is my test piece. It has to be cleaned up and tidied up a bit . Blimey, that looks like a nightmare to paint - there's no one area to pull focus on, all the bling competes for attention. Great idea though to practice on a bigger scale. And given your usual speed, I expect it'll be done in about an hour.

Lol you got that right!!! I take it once the riders on it'll be his majesty to pull focus . The riders are actually amazing looking. And quickly breaking my monotony . I really am enjoying this piece so far.
