Shoot thanks fox he's awesome and a great teacher he's very clear and precise when he teaches. Ask anything go ahead!! Taxes , family life, minis go ahead itll be like talking to a FERKIN oracle!!! Lol thanks bud. Yeah ill do all my shading and highlighting on a certain section lets say front portion of the torso or a shoulder pad. Then ill do my weathering. This helps me at that point to refer back and fourth how I want the other portions to meet that point or standard if you will. Ill even go as far as doing the blood patches and blood stains as well. Again it acts as a marker for balance throughout!!!

I really enjoy your work. Your gritty realistic style really appeals to me, and has inspired me to emulate it in my work. Yes we're painting cartoony fantasy and science fiction miniatures, but I still think it's fitting to try to apply a layer of realism to them, like you are.

Might make some nice additions....Shame the FW additions are so hit and miss on these....the other Skaven star player they released was almost as bad as their Rat Ogre. Not entorely keen on their choice of painter for the box/website pics either...some woeful stuff

Guys quick thing if your looking for a cement tutorial it's a great one bails found only problem is when drilling into the feldspar mix it cracks and shales . Unfortunately being I travel to comps this wouldn't be efficient enough to transport( my no priority) so grass and mud it is with yardage lines ill try and do something diff just not to have a standard thing like we see. Enjoy!!!
