Janet picked out my arena Rex model - let’s just say it isn’t what I would have chosen. But because she bought it I’ll paint it up for the arena Rex comp at adeptikon. For arena Rex I prefer to stay with what I won with - gladiators in armor with a cool/ warm flesh recipe. This is not that. I however will take it as a challenge and see what I can do with it. The piece is very fragile I held the fins in the back of the model up to the light and you can see right through. Painting it seems isn’t the first obstacle - the first obstacle will be not breaking it. UgggghView attachment 63435

Couple of dark glazes of anathonian camo and that comic vibrancy is gone- more subdued.
