My doggie chewed the part of the base so I had to surgery it I'm lucky it didn't look worse than it did....I want to kill him but he's too cute..

lright guys the Ole ogre is on the back burner because CEDRIC HAS ARRIVED..w I p will be posted as I go but I will not post the final pics due to tact and strategy of other gr8 artist being able to see my work b/4 crystal brush..

Only certain comps not sure bout crystal brush....some I'm going with have been posted and some not either way I'm gonna not make it easy for the other competitors do I think I can win of course do I think that there are 40-50 pieces on aside mi e that can win ..Def it's like golden demon your up against 30-50 fantastik models that are all technically equal and somewhere from that they have to pick a top 3 so that's how I've seen comp my whole life...if I lose does that mean some were better of course but more so it's something the judges liked it's rarely because the winners are that much better it's more so you've done something to win the judges...in a day and age where most models are technically sound you just gotta hope they like what your coming with...nothing more nothing less...if I don't win I'll win down the road.it's destiny.

Keep on truckin and your bound to win one way or another. I do disagree with you though. If you lose it does not mean the other person was better than you. It could simply mean the judge had a more positive reaction to someone elses mini. For example, if I was a judge I would always be partial to ork models. In truth I would be fair and just, but there would always be that hint of favoritism. Also I have an aversion to space marines, not because I think they are stupid, but simply because SO many other people like them. So lesson of the day, if I am a judge, paint something orky, not space mariney

it actually depend on so many things. and what competition you are enterng. some favours techniques not necessarily "better" than other, some favours creativity, basebuilding, atmosphere, storytelling, whatever. in the end, until we get a robot that analyze the painting its always going to be subjective, like art always is.
