Truth is ter when a style develops it's a combination of a few basic skills and what we know as artists like the back of our hands... I've worked countless hours trying to focus on a realistic approach when painting my plan was start with a basis an idea then run it many different ways but all involving the same tricks 1)color variation at random puts of the model eg would be rust on metal work or scratches but I can use the same thing on let's say leather or fur 2 puts is scratches and flecos along with some tone variations it's the same thing I use on a killerr kanNs armor that I do on worun leather and that is my style always surfaces of wear and tear ,discoloration through tone variation and a few scratches goes a long way in telling a battle hardened story...you'll see it on every sing one of my models..if you ever need help you can look at how I weather netaL in my earlier posts of my w I p on my orks from there it's the same techniques of weathering on anything and everything...it's as easy as that ..now to get it subtle and believable well I can show you that too...it's a style that's been very good to me and is my signature.I'm always only too happy to share them as well in a step by step method that a 12 year old can grasp.
