That's why I love ya krule!! Lol anywho I've decided to start a model while I await pegasos order . None other than the new necron lord . This will be my very first necron and will use my weathered armor technique . First two shadows have been two brushes blended in red carrosburg crimson mixed with pry role Ali g with deep chestnut brown and dark blue. Stay tuned this shouldnt take long!. lol

hes looking lovely, love the weathering on the armor, I think you need to do the little extra on necrons because they do tend to be rather simple compared to other models. I have a necron command barge which is part assembled for painting. painting it to sell on though :)

Right on bro, rust looks nice, well places highlights keep going. I remember making my own rust in the 90's with orange/black ink with my acrylic metallic.

I've been in cognito and have begun the work and continuing my necron lord. Here's where we're at folks. Taking my time with this beautiful model. Ill be trying a very light and subtle osl effects. My first time trying this technique so stay tuned going back to my workstation which I term "the laboratory"...... Stay tuned folks. Enjoy....

Just bouncing back and fourth , I find it keeps the model balanced no matter how chaotic it seems jumping back and fourth is a habit I e acquired and really feel it lends itself to balanced if the miniature.

Lmao nice one epic there will be a time when the student will be the teacher and honestly IDE be so proud and welcome it you may be able to find something that I may have trouble doing and the light may go off in my head and ill say wow epic just made me improve happens all the time. ;)
