That's like a giant compliment to your painting skills then right? Or do we need to ask what you're wearing while you paint??

Whoa, so much progress made since I last looked in. It's looking great, I love the skin.
Maybe you need to set up your house like Home Alone and teach that kid a lesson.

Decided to do the bear skin before the shield with a few things done the model is starting to interact and I'm getting a better idea if how he's looking hopefully I can use the day to finish the skin of the bear and that should take up the better part of my day I've been at it since 6:35am this morning. Stay very tuned.

Bear head...now i am really jazzed. I love how you take everyones advice and evaluate if it fits what you are going for or if you can tweak the advice to fit your vision. Both the face highlights and iris adjustments were great improvements.

What scale is this guy?

Thanks so much krule its great when i can do things tecnically because if i couldnt it wouldnt matter im just glad as a proffesional all those years spent tring to fet brush cotrol and blending and in the last year practicing freehand this makes it able to just take the advice and just apply it that is why i tell everybody practice the technical parts as much as possible this way when valuable info is given at least it can make a difference when implementing.thank you so much for noticing these very subtle yet significant differences in the stages.thanks so much.as far as the kodel i believe its I 1/10 scale which equals 60mm.thanks again krule.

Thanks, i was going to order Jeremie's painting book from Figone and figured i would take advantage of the shipping to get a couple minis...there are a couple historic minis i like, but am a tad intimidated by the 75mm scale.

No no krule its the opposite because it's larger like baily says it's much easier to go from small to large than vice versa you can really take advantage of what you practice on the larger scale and then when you apply it to the 28mm it's much more clarified I haven't gotten Jeremiah book yet but I saw the contents at crystal brush with baily it's a very informative book and Def plan to get it in a month or so just remember to get the English version.

Hmmm... now that you mention it, the bear actually looks a little sad. Poor guy

Yes, come to the dark side. Mwhahahaha! Don't be too worried about the scale. A lot of gaming figure monsters, ogres, etc are essentially the same size as 54mm figures and 75mm is just a little bit larger than that. Just expect to spend about 3 times longer on a single 75mm figure than you do on a 28mm. Use that extra time to work in more detail to areas that need it and develop smoother blends over the big surfaces. You might even find you like working on the big ones more... you never know.
