View attachment 44550View attachment 44551 A table top quickie got me trying to get around to painting a playable and easy yo finish ultramarine army. Total time 6 .5 hours not including the base the lesser marines will not have anything more than a standard round base with dome hills and gravel.. Ehat this is really about is what I have in mind hit the base. Sticking with a degree of complimentary color to bring more contrast to a quickly painted force. Stay tuned. I should get this finished to show what I'm trying to achieve but the minute my bulwark vignette comes In this is back burned.so stay tuned. With my speed I do t foresee a problem!!! Ill say it like I've said it got the last 3 years .... STAYETH TUNEDETH FOLKS!!!

Nice Space Marine and unbelievably good for 6.5 hours.

i hope you got in on the Tales of the North Indiego campaign. The two 54 mm Barbarian figypres came in this week and they are some of the cleanest sculpts I have seen. They are screeming at me to paint them up in a BAM scheme.

I'm really liking the red/orange tones you're using in the base. Makes for a striking figure. Are you using weathering powders to get the dusty effect?

Do you and Ter need a bit of alone time? :p

LLololol yes this was aN exercise in a co tasting base (pigment powders red orange , rust etc ,) to contrast with a model that I've do e in minimal t8me....he's drying now the whole thing g to bout 11 hours over two days.so nobody can tell me any excuse that they can't spend all their precious time to do an army ...they can be done to decent standards just by following a rule of contrasting with complimentery colors.

Looks fabulous not a big marine fan but there's no mistaking the quality of the paint job. I hope I can paint this fast: I'm averaging less than one a month at current rates...
