I don't pay attention to the forum for a few days and it seems things go nuts around here! Lol :)

Nice mercenary BAM, where is the next one? ;)

Your painting is as sterling as usual. But I find that he's got too much red going on - have you considered a different colour for the cloak and armour bands? Possibly a deep forest green or leather?

Yeah, it was a bit quiet around here yesterday.

Those helldorado figures are very cool, definitely the sort of stuff you like to paint. Looks good. As I recall, Roman did a version of this guy for the Massive Voodoo TMM tutorial. And that reminds me, he had some other neat helldorado figures in the bloody strings tutorial. Might be worth taking a look. I know you've got a good handle on the blood splatter, but this is a neat effect especially for some of those flayed characters.

They use UHU glue, which isn't carried in the US. You can order it online, but Demihuman found a good alternative. I forget what the brand was, so poke through his WIP thread or just send him a pm and ask if you're want to try it!

View attachment 46173 Here guys brings me to my next tip of the day there are as follow 5 yes 5 diff types or ways to bring contrast to a model to make it pop or stand out and give or put focus on it.

they are 1)light vs dark
2)complimentary colors
3)warm and cold tones
4)shiny vs dull
5)textural ccontrast
one may use all or 1 of these elements to obtain a focal point or many focal points on your modmodel the more of these and the better executed the more interesting the model will be to the viewing audience.

when this model is done I will explain which I've used here.

Nice contrast tips! It won't let me give you rep power so soon, so I'll save for the next one ;)

Good luck with your venues on the show!
