Lol I aim to please....Lololololol me and David always have a bunch of laughs from the moment we enter the pieces right up until he wins cause most of the time I have no shot with all those talented Europeans...Lololololol so I have been anything but taking it easy ...been occupied with 4 diff projects. 2 commissions ,an alternative box art for my talented STAVROS ZOULITIS and his range of fantasy and sci fi miniatures called -MINIATURE TALES" and a personal project .yes another unit ,this time the hive mind and those beautiful purple people eaters ,gene stealer hybrids.View attachment 47946View attachment 47947View attachment 47948View attachment 47949

Very cool! I really like the skin colors you got on these guys. Perfect for genestealers! I especially like the first one. Did you take a face painting class recently or something because he looks great! =)

I'm not sure what you have planned for the blue, but it'd be neat to see some really high contrast. Almost like NMM. I think the box art does something similar (though you could do it better). Of course it's all a matter of how much time you want to invest in these little guys.

And ten ball that is the compliment of the decade for me...Bailey I'll be really going high with the contrast ...higher than ide ever decide to try and attain..krule it's a join line from the sand which of two parts that go together .a lil varnish trick and it'll be A ok..thanks to arch, maenas(light points) lol ,gotta have light points.saint toad always a pleasure.thanks diggie!!!

It's really terrible they want "my client" 5-10 of these things ...what sucks is its a great pay off but have to part with them...but if I finish them the way close to the image I have in my minds eye then they will be brought wth me to a comp..don't know what one yet as new models are constantly coming out...:(

thank s flu!!! Btw yeah David class was the most informative, most beneficial, and the most practical meaning you can apply these principles to any and everything.!!! David!!! Big payoff!!!

Fair enough :) - a girl can dream. Maybe if we work out how much you'd need we could get it sponsored or figure out ticket prices....

Moving on from me bugging you....

I think it's a healthy thing to experiment and update your style every once in a while. Whatever you're doing seems to be working a treat! Loving the skin on these little guys.

The idea of trying new things is what's behind my challenge to you to paint something cute/adorable. I think it'll be a fun project, but more importantly my hope is that it will help push your painting.

You guys should've reminded us about the cuteness during Adepticon, I would've bought BAM the cutest chibi I found at the Impact Miniatures booth.
